Pulse Days 2010 will be held January 11 & 12, 2010 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This year's theme is 'Tools For Success'.
"This year's conference will focus on giving producers the tools for continued success on their farms," says Garth Patterson, Executive Director of SPG. "We are also again dedicating the entire afternoon to the very popular market outlook panels featuring industry experts."
Other topics include a look at the Future of Genomics in Saskatchewan Pulses, Fertility Benefits of Pulses in Crop Rotations, Staying Competitive in the Global markets, an Integrated Approach for Post-Harvest Quality of Red Lentil and Utilization of Saskatchewan Green Lentil in Traditional Indian Foods.
"With more than 1,000 producers expected to attend, it is wise to secure a spot early so you can join us for this exciting event," Patterson says. "We will kick things off on Monday with our AGM and FREE Beef on a Bun dinner at 5:00 PM at Prairieland Park and following that, lead right into the Opening Reception and Research Poster Session. The conference sessions will begin on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 starting at 8:00 AM."
Saskatchewan residents save 50% and pay only $20 by registering before 4:30PM on Friday, December 18, 2009. All participants outside of Saskatchewan and those registering at the door pay only $40.
To accommodate such large numbers, SPG will continue to offer the option of attending at either Prairieland Park (in conjunction with the Western Canadian Crop Production Show) or Saskatoon Inn (where speakers will present live).
